AbstractVarious women’s health issues can be dealt with at pharmacy level. Some of the conditions with which female patients often present include dysmenorrhoea (painful periods), premenstrual syndrome (PMS), mild cystitis (bladder infection) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). This article will focus on the causes and symptoms of these conditions, as well as over-the-counter (OTC) treatment options.
